What a charter costs
Charter is priced by the flight hour, and the aircraft sets the rate. These are typical US ranges before tax and fees. Your quote turns them into one all-in number.

Safety and standards
Who flies you, and how they are checked
Get Private Jet arranges flights and does not operate them. Every trip is flown by an FAA Part 135 air carrier, or its foreign equivalent, holding operational control of the aircraft and crew.
Part 135 certificate
The FAA certificate for on-demand commercial flights. It sets the rules for maintenance, crew training and operations; see 14 CFR Part 135.
Third-party audits
ARGUS (Gold, Gold+ and Platinum), Wyvern (Wingman) and IS-BAO (Stages 1–3) assess operators against standards that go beyond the regulations. Your quote names the operator, so you can ask which it holds.
Crew duty and rest
Crews fly within legal duty and rest limits. Long days and late changes are planned around those limits, never through them.

Most trips are priced by the flight hour. Typical US ranges run from about $1,800–3,200 an hour for a turboprop to $12,000–20,000 or more for an ultra long range jet, before tax and fees. The cost estimator shows the working for your route.
Is the price in my quote all-in?
Yes. Quotes include the 7.5% federal excise tax on domestic US flights, segment fees, and the airport and handling fees known in advance. If a variable cost may apply, such as winter de-icing, the quote says so.
Who operates my flight?
An FAA Part 135 direct air carrier, or its foreign equivalent, with operational control of the aircraft. Get Private Jet is a broker: we arrange the flight and name the operator before you book.
Do I need a membership or a deposit?
No. There is no membership, deposit or sign-up to request a quote. Payment terms are set out in the charter agreement once you choose an aircraft.
Can I book one-way or multi-city trips?
Yes. One-way, round-trip and multi-city itineraries are all quoted leg by leg, with the aircraft and crew planned across the whole trip.
Can my dog fly with me?
Many aircraft accept pets, subject to the operator’s approval. Mention the number and size of your pets when you request a quote, and check entry rules before flying abroad.
How much luggage can I bring?
It depends on the aircraft. A light jet takes a few soft bags per person; a large cabin takes far more. Tell us about skis, golf clubs or oversized cases so the right aircraft is quoted.
What is an empty leg?
A repositioning flight an aircraft has to make anyway, offered at a discount, often 25–75% off. The route and time are fixed, and the flight can be canceled if the original trip changes.
